Turning 24…

I just wanted to take a moment and say “Thank You” to everyone for all of the birthday wishes. It means a lot to me that you all took the time from your busy lives to wish me a happy birthday, and I feel very blessed to have each and every one of you. I was very shocked at how many phone calls, voicemails, and text messages i received yesterday. Particularly from friends and family that i haven’t spoke to since my last birthday, or even in the past 4 years.

It was an outpouring of love, beyond my wildest expectations.

I also want to thank everyone that came and celebrated my birthday with me last week. It was epic, and i love each and every one of you.

Over the past year, i’ve re-connected with several friends from my childhood. Despite the fact it’s been years since we saw each other, we picked up right where we left off.

After the love fest yesterday, my goal for the upcoming year is to continue reaching out, and connecting with old friends. I hope some of you reading this, that fall into this category, will reach out to me as well. Time has no impact on true friendships, and it’s funny how things always seem to work out in the end. Life is precious, and short… why not spend it having fun with those that have been there since day 1.

Professionally, i’m so thrilled to continue my career with the Cowboys organization. It’s an honor to go to work on a daily basis with co-workers that challenge me to be at my best every day. I’ve also developed true friendships at work that extend beyond the office, which is a rare blessing.

It’s been the 12 months of my life, and i hope to make the next 12 even better.

I believe that the smallest acts of kindness, are far greater than the grandest of intentions. That is why i often go beyond the “norm” in showing my appreciation for people.

Thank you all for showing this same appreciation to me.

Cheers to 24… and beyond.

The Netflix Return

04/22/2013 UPDATE: I TOLD YOU SO!
There is no denying that Netflix has fallen from grace.

In the summer of 2011, Netflix stock hit an all-time high of $295.14, before enduring a shocking slide after several bad decisions.

Mark my words, Netflix is going to bounce back!
With their resurrection of the cult classic, Arrested Development, and original programming from Ricky Gervais (Derek) and Kevin Spacey (House of Cards), Netflix is primed for a return to prominence.
